Chester Racecourse to Host Black Founders Showcase Celebrating Independent Brands
The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors and retail buyers to showcase Black-owned businesses from across the UK.

More than 30 Black-owned businesses will showcase their products at Chester Racecourse this weekend as a Chester social enterprise hosts a major event celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation.
Organised by Black Founders Studio, the showcase will take place on Saturday, bringing together founders, investors, retail buyers, members of the media and invited guests. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet business owners and explore a range of beauty, food and lifestyle brands.
The event has been organised by Chester businesswoman Jemima Antwi, founder of Black Founders Studio, which supports entrepreneurs as they develop and grow their businesses.
Antwi said the showcase marks an important milestone for the organisation, which she said has supported more than 50 founders in less than a year, the majority of them Black women, without external funding.
Between 150 and 175 guests are expected to attend the event, including founders, their families, investors, retail buyers and civic representatives.
Black Founders Studio says the showcase aims to raise the profile of independent businesses while creating opportunities for founders to connect with potential partners, customers and investors.
The event will take place at Chester Racecourse on Saturday.
