A much-loved café at a popular Cheshire visitor attraction has closed its doors, bringing an end to a familiar stop for families, day-trippers and regular visitors.
Le Cafe at Glebe Farm in Astbury, near Congleton, has served its final customers after owner Ricardo Andrade announced the closure online.
The café had become a well-known part of the Glebe Farm experience, offering visitors somewhere to stop for food, drinks and a break during trips to the family-friendly attraction.
In a message shared with customers, Ricardo said the decision had not been easy but that the café had been left with no choice but to close. He thanked customers for their support over the years and said the loyalty, kindness and community spirit shown by people in Congleton had meant a great deal.
