Cheshire town confirms food and drink festival return - and it's FREE
Last year the event attracted 2,000 people

One of Cheshire’s popular community events is set to return this summer as the Frodsham Food and Drink Festival comes back for another day packed with food, drink and family entertainment.
The free event will take place at Castle Park in Frodsham on Saturday, June 13, running from 11am until 5pm.
Organisers are expecting another strong turnout as visitors from across Cheshire and surrounding areas head to Frodsham for a day celebrating local food, artisan traders and community activities.
Food, drink and artisan stalls
The festival will feature a wide range of:
* Artisan market stalls * Street food vendors * Local food and drink producers * Independent traders and businesses
Visitors will be able to explore a variety of food options while supporting local businesses and producers from across the region.
Family entertainment planned
As well as food and shopping, organisers have confirmed a full programme of family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, including:
* A fairground * Punch and Judy shows * Family entertainment and activities * Live demonstrations and workshops
Chef demonstrations are also planned, with more workshops and attractions expected to be announced closer to the event.
