Boots customers in Handforth Dean are being welcomed into a newly refurbished store after the retailer completed a major makeover at its Handforth Dean Retail Park branch.
The upgraded store has been redesigned to improve the shopping experience for people using the retail park, with a refreshed layout, an expanded beauty offer and improvements to health, wellness and pharmacy services.
Boots said the refurbishment represents a significant reinvestment in the Handforth Dean store, which serves customers from Handforth, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Cheadle, Stockport and the wider Cheshire area.
The modernised beauty hall now includes a wider range of premium and popular brands, including Wella Hair, Erborian, Laneige, OUAI, bareMinerals, JVN and Guerlain, alongside Boots favourites such as No7 and the retailer’s own-brand ranges.
Customers can also receive advice from Boots Beauty Specialists, who are available in store to help shoppers choose products suited to their needs across skincare, haircare, make-up and beauty.
The pharmacy area has also been improved as part of the refurbishment, strengthening the store’s focus on everyday healthcare, vitamins and everyday wellness. Customers can continue to access a range of pharmacy services from the store’s healthcare team.
Steven Mallalieu, Store Manager at Boots Handforth, said the response from customers had been incredibly positive since the store reopened.

The Handforth Dean store is home to a wide range of experts, including pharmacists, a specially trained Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacist, Boots Opticians, No7 specialists and customer advisors.
Boots says more than 80% of the UK population lives within 10 minutes of one of its stores. The retailer has more than 1,800 stores across the UK and employs more than 52,000 team members.
The Handforth Dean refurbishment forms part of Boots’ wider investment in its store estate, with the company modernising selected health and beauty stores to improve the customer experience.
