A Cheshire lakeside attraction near Delamere Forest is offering inflatable water challenges, watersports and outdoor swimming for the 2026 season.
Wild Shore Delamere is open for the 2026 season, offering families and groups a water-based day out in rural Cheshire.
The attraction is based at Delamere Lake Sailing & Holiday Park on Chester Road in Oakmere, near Northwich, and sits around 12 miles east of Chester.
Its main draw is the inflatable Aqua Park, a floating obstacle course where visitors can climb, balance, jump and slide across features on the lake.
The site also offers wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding and open water swimming, giving visitors a choice between high-energy activities and slower-paced time on the water.
Wild Shore describes the Delamere venue as a water-based adventure hub, with activities aimed at families, friends and individuals. The operator says the site has something for different ages and abilities, although visitors should check the latest rules before booking.
For Cheshire families, the appeal is straightforward. It gives people a seasonal outdoor option that feels more active than a standard park visit, without needing to travel far from Chester, Northwich, Frodsham or the surrounding villages.
The Aqua Park is likely to be the headline activity for many visitors, particularly children and groups looking for a more energetic day out. Sessions include kit hire, and visitors are advised to bring swimwear, a towel and a padlock for lockers.
Wild Shore says Aqua Park sessions are 50 minutes long and take place every hour on the hour. Visitors are asked to arrive 30 minutes before their session, as late arrival may affect the time available on the water.
The operator lists the Aqua Park as suitable for children aged six and over, with a minimum height requirement of 1.1 metres. Participants are also expected to be able to swim 25 metres.
Children aged 16 and under must have an adult on site, while younger children may need an adult with them on the activity, depending on age and booking rules.
Away from the Aqua Park, wakeboarding offers a more challenging watersport option for visitors who want to try being pulled across the lake.
Stand-up paddleboarding gives people a calmer way to enjoy the water, while open water swimming is available for those looking for a more fitness-focused visit.
The setting also adds to the attraction. Delamere is already a popular area for outdoor days out, and the water park gives visitors another reason to spend time in this part of Cheshire during the warmer months.
Wild Shore Delamere says its 2026 season runs from April 4 to October 25.
