Three Cheshire companies among top 10 fastest-growing North West firms
Firms from Chester, Warrington and Wilmslow all make the list

Businesses from Wilmslow, Warrington and Chester have been recognised in The Sunday Times 100 list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.
Three Cheshire companies have been named among the fastest-growing firms in the North West.
Run North West, FuelHub and Bio&Me all feature in The Sunday Times 100, a national ranking of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.
The list ranks businesses by sales growth and includes companies from across the UK.
Run North West, based in Wilmslow, was the highest-ranked Cheshire firm on the national list.
The running shoes retailer placed 21st overall, with sales of £11.4m and growth of 139.48%.
FuelHub, a Warrington-based meal delivery service, ranked 39th nationally.
The company recorded sales of £6.4m and growth of 98.69%.
Chester food brand Bio&Me ranked 60th in the UK-wide list.
The business, known for its gut-friendly granola, porridge, muesli and breakfast products, recorded sales of £15.9m and growth of 77.44%.
The three Cheshire firms were also among the top 10 North West businesses included in the ranking.
The regional breakdown shows 14 North West firms made The Sunday Times 100, behind only London, which had 45 companies on the list.
The highest-ranked North West company was TGG, an Altrincham legal claims services provider, which placed third nationally.
For Cheshire, the ranking highlights the strength of fast-growing businesses across very different sectors.
Run North West reflects the continued demand for specialist retail, fitness and running products.
FuelHub shows the growth of prepared meal delivery and health-focused convenience food.
Bio&Me’s inclusion points to the strength of consumer food brands built around health, nutrition and gut wellbeing.
The results also show that high-growth businesses are not limited to major city centres.
Wilmslow, Warrington and Chester all have companies competing nationally in sectors where brand, digital sales, customer loyalty and operational efficiency matter.
For the local economy, firms like these can help create jobs, attract investment and strengthen Cheshire’s reputation as a place for ambitious businesses.
The Sunday Times 100 was led nationally by Goalhanger, the podcast production and distribution company linked to Gary Lineker.
Goalhanger topped the list with sales of £37.9m and growth of 321.25%.
The ranking also reported a record number of companies with female leaders, with 33 of the 100 firms including a woman in a leadership role.
For Cheshire’s business community, the appearance of three firms in the North West’s leading group is a positive signal.
It shows that local companies can scale quickly when they combine a clear market, strong branding and a product or service that fits changing consumer habits.
