Thousands of people flocked to Reaseheath Showground as the Nantwich Show returned with a full day of agriculture, entertainment and family activities, taking advantage of warm summer weather.
Organisers expected attendance to surpass last year’s crowd of 11,000 visitors, although final figures had not been confirmed at the time of reporting.
Visitors explored hundreds of trade stands, watched livestock and equestrian competitions, enjoyed food and drink from local producers and took in a packed programme of demonstrations and live entertainment throughout the day.
The annual event, organised by the Nantwich Agricultural Society, continues to showcase Cheshire’s farming heritage alongside local businesses, crafts and rural organisations. It remains one of the county’s largest one-day agricultural shows, attracting visitors from across South Cheshire and beyond.
Families made the most of the sunshine by visiting the children’s attractions, while shoppers browsed exhibitors offering everything from home and garden products to artisan food and countryside equipment.
Livestock judging, equestrian classes and agricultural competitions remained at the heart of the show, with exhibitors from across the region competing throughout the day.
The event also provided an opportunity for local charities, community groups and businesses to engage with thousands of visitors, highlighting the important role the show plays in supporting the rural economy and bringing communities together.
