Knutsford-based logistics company Speedy Freight has been shortlisted for two national industry awards, recognising its franchise network and customer service.
The business has been named a finalist in the Franchisor of the Year (Established) category at the 2026 British Franchise Association Awards and is also in contention for The Customer Service Award at the 2026 Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
The dual recognition follows another successful year for the company, which operates a nationwide network of franchise businesses providing same-day and urgent logistics services across the UK.
Michael Wilson, Group Franchise Director at Speedy Freight, said the nominations reflected the commitment of the company's franchise owners, operational teams and support staff.
He said the business had continued to invest in technology, operational support, learning and development, and customer service to strengthen its national network while maintaining a local approach to serving customers.
The British Franchise Association Awards recognise franchisors that demonstrate high standards of leadership, business performance and ethical franchising. Speedy Freight received a Bronze Award in the same category in 2025 and is now hoping to build on that success.
The Supply Chain Excellence Awards celebrate businesses that demonstrate outstanding performance and innovation across the logistics and supply chain sector, with customer service forming a key part of the judging criteria.
Speedy Freight, which has its headquarters in Knutsford, has grown through a franchise model that combines locally operated businesses with central operational support and technology.
Winners of the Supply Chain Excellence Awards will be announced in London on 5 November, while the British Franchise Association Awards will be presented in Telford on 12 November.
