New 128-Place Nursery to Open at Kings Moat Garden Village in Chester

A new nursery providing 128 childcare places is set to open this September at Kings Moat Garden Village, helping to meet growing demand for early years education in one of Chester's fastest-expanding residential areas.
The nursery forms part of the new Kings Moat Community Primary School development on the southern edge of the city, off Wrexham Road (A483). Together, the facilities have been created to support families moving into the expanding Kings Moat neighbourhood and surrounding communities.
The purpose-built nursery will offer places for babies and pre-school children, providing high-quality early years education and childcare ahead of the new academic year. It has been designed with modern indoor learning environments and secure outdoor play areas to support children's development through play and exploration.
The opening comes as Chester continues to experience significant housing growth, increasing demand for school and nursery places across the city. Local authorities have worked with education providers and developers to ensure education infrastructure keeps pace with the area's expanding population.
