Cheshire College and Macclesfield College Complete Landmark Merger

Cheshire College – South & West and Macclesfield College have officially completed their legal merger, creating one of the largest further education providers in the region.
The move brings together campuses in Chester, Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Macclesfield under a single organisation, marking a major development for further education across Cheshire. College leaders say the merger will strengthen the group's ability to invest in teaching, facilities and employer partnerships while continuing to support students across all existing campuses.
For current students, day-to-day learning is expected to continue without disruption. Courses, timetables and support services will remain in place as the colleges begin operating under a shared governance structure and work towards integrating services over the coming months.
