Bellringers Honour 102-Year-Old Former Church Ringer from Nantwich
A special performance celebrated a Nantwich resident whose passion for bellringing has spanned generations.

A team of bellringers came together to celebrate the remarkable life of 102-year-old Rachel Sherwin by performing a special "peal of delight" in recognition of her lifelong connection to the tradition.
Mrs Sherwin, who lives in Nantwich, was once a member of the eight-bell ringing team at St Chad's Church in Winsford, where she spent many years helping to ring the church bells for services and special occasions.
The performance was organised as a tribute to her dedication to bellringing and to recognise the contribution she made to one of England's oldest church traditions. Members of the local bellringing community gathered to ensure she could once again enjoy the sound of the bells that had played such an important role in her life.
