Wilmslow residents urged to have their say on town's future
Wilmslow Town Council has launched its 2026 Residents' Survey, with feedback set to help determine future priorities, investment and improvements across the town.

Residents across Wilmslow are being asked to help shape future priorities for the town by taking part in a new community survey.
Wilmslow Town Council has launched its 2026 Residents' Survey, which will be used to inform decisions about where the council should focus its attention and investment.
Paper copies of the survey are being delivered to every home in Wilmslow during September, while residents can also complete it online.
The deadline for responses is Sunday, October 11.
The council says previous feedback from residents has already influenced a number of projects and spending decisions in the town.
These include funding additional free activities for children and young people and introducing Town Rangers to help improve Wilmslow's public spaces.
Feedback has also contributed to the council beginning the process of bringing Bank Square into community ownership.
Town Mayor Councillor Sally Harrison is encouraging more people to participate this year after only a relatively small proportion of Wilmslow residents completed the previous survey.
The council says a larger response would provide a better picture of residents' priorities and allow different views from across the community to be considered when future decisions are made.
Anyone completing the survey can also choose to enter a prize draw.
The winner will receive a £50 voucher which can be spent at a Wilmslow shop or hospitality business of their choice.
Residents who cannot complete the survey online will be able to use the paper copy being distributed to households. Additional paper copies and alternative formats can also be requested from Wilmslow Town Council.
The 2026 Residents' Survey remains open until Sunday, October 11.
