Google has launched a new AI-backed security initiative aimed at helping hospitals, public transport operators, municipalities and other critical organisations find weaknesses in their internet-facing systems. The programme, announced on 24 September 2026, combines Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber with Wiz’s Red Agent and passes any findings to human security researchers for verification and remediation.
The source report says the tools can be used only where an organisation has authorised the work, or where a bug bounty or vulnerability disclosure policy allows it.
