Ten Chester Business School students honoured with Dean’s Awards
Ten students received Dean’s Commendation Awards from Chester Business School for academic achievement and contribution.

Ten students have received Dean’s Commendation Awards from the University of Chester Business School for their academic achievement and contribution to the school.
The awards were presented at an event held at Queen’s Park in September. According to the report, the students were nominated by academic staff and were recognised across undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and exchange study.
Dr Tim Brown, acting head of Chester Business School, said the Dean’s Awards were an opportunity to recognise and celebrate “exceptional individuals” who help make the school “a vibrant and successful community”.
The report says the awards were presented by Dr Brown alongside Dr David Acquaye, head of division for business, management, accounting and finance, Dr Giselle Bate, senior lecturer in marketing, and Amanda Forsyth, senior lecturer in business management.
Among those honoured was Ceri Pimblett, a Doctor of Business Administration student, who was recognised for her contribution to the postgraduate community and Chester Business School.
Samantha Oakley, who studies events management, received an award for exceptional performance on the Live Event: Production module.
Three digital marketing students were also recognised. Lowri Bower was awarded for achieving the highest grade on the Customer Journey module, Jana Mohamed for the highest grade on the Marketing Communications module, and Bronson Ellis for outstanding contribution on the Customer Journey module.
Karol Tinajero Villegas, an exchange student, was recognised for achieving the highest grade on the Marketing Trends module, while Anna Vasilyeva, who studies marketing, received an award for outstanding contribution on the same module.
Faith Patterson, a banking and finance student, was commended for exceptional performance during her industry placement year.
Md Ekram Hussen, who studies business management, received an award for exceptional performance on the Retail Management module.
Junqi Tan, who studies events management and international tourism, was recognised for achieving the highest grade on the Management Research Project module.
