Widnes entrepreneur Helen Lord has won the Sustainable Business category at the 2026 Enterprise Vision Awards.
Ms Lord is co-founder and director of Rehome, a circular economy company based in Widnes. The business gives used kitchens and interiors a second life by reselling them for reuse, helping to keep high-quality fitted interiors out of landfill.
The awards ceremony was held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. The Enterprise Vision Awards recognise women in business across the UK for achievements including entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, business growth and social impact.
Helen Lord said she was “absolutely delighted” to receive the award and described the win as an opportunity to raise awareness of sustainable business.
Rehome works with homeowners, retailers, manufacturers, designers and developers. The company uses a carbon calculator to show the emissions reductions associated with reselling interiors rather than sending them for disposal.
Judges praised Rehome’s environmental impact and said its approach showed that sustainability could be commercially successful and scalable. The company has achieved B Corp status and received a Queen’s Award for Sustainable Development.
The Sustainable Business Award was sponsored by Trident Utilities.
