Family-run Widnes logistics company Q Delivery Services has entered liquidation after 13 years in business.

Richard Cole and Stephen Kenny, of KBL Advisory Limited, were appointed joint liquidators on 14 September, according to a notice in The Gazette.

Q Delivery Services was established in 2013 and was based in Widnes and Bedford. The company described itself as an end-to-end logistics business providing haulage and warehousing services across the UK.

Its services included part and full loads, next-day and same-day deliveries, and Saturday deliveries. The company also operated a fleet of vehicles.

The business had described itself as one of the UK’s premier logistics providers and had received awards during its time trading.

Companies House records show the company’s latest accounts were overdue. The most recent accounts on record covered the period ending 31 January 2023.

The liquidation follows the company entering administration in 2024. No further details about the company’s creditors, employees or customers were given in the report.
