Ellesmere Port primary school celebrating positive Ofsted report
A COMMUNITY primary in Ellesmere Port has achieved 'Strong' standards in Early Years and Inclusion following a recent Ofsted inspection.

William Stockton Primary School in Ellesmere Port is celebrating after an Ofsted inspection recognised strengths across the school.
The education watchdog found that all seven inspection areas met either “Strong” or “Expected” standards.
Inspectors praised the school’s work in helping children make a strong start to their education. They said leaders had “an excellent understanding” of the experiences and teaching children need to develop and achieve as well as they can.
The report also highlighted the support provided to pupils with additional needs, describing it as highly effective and noting its positive impact on children’s progress and wellbeing.
Inspectors said pupils were well prepared for the next stage of their education. They described William Stockton Primary as “a calm and welcoming place” where children develop firm friendships and enjoy learning.
The school’s inclusive culture was also praised. Inspectors said staff “expertly overcome pupils’ differing barriers to learning”, helping all children access the curriculum and succeed.
