Welcome to What's on in Sandbach which is brought to you thanks to the support of the Sports Coaching Group .
We have gone through and picked out a few events but if we've missed anything, please let us know!
Every Thursday, we bring you our top picks of events in and around Sandbach happening over the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
Chance to see two classical guitarists at Goosfest, a recital by the J2 Duo at The Swettenham Arms, Lovell Suite, Swettenham Lane in Swettenham. Josh Hughes and Joel Redfern are a classical guitar duo from the North of England that are now called 'The J2 Duo'.
They formed at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) at the beginning of 2023. Josh and Joel recently graduated under the tutelage of internationally renowned classical guitarist Craig Ogden.
The duo also received regular coaching from Rory Russell, who was a former member of the award-winning Aquarelle Guitar Quartet for many years. Tickets £28 including buffet.

Wheelock Congregation Church Hall has its Friday 'Arts and Crafts Club' for adults with additional needs.
They meet at Wheelock Congregational Church hall between 10 am and 12 noon. The cost is £10, which includes all resources and refreshments. Carers are free of charge. All welcome.

Need to get fit and have some fun? Beginners Strictly Dance Fit class starts at Sandbach Cricket Club in Hind Heath Road from 11 am - 12 noon. Background to the classes is detailed here
Like flexing your brain? The Cheshire Cheese in Wheelock which recently reopened with new faces behind the bar has its weekly quiz night. Don't miss it!
Coffee and Company at Elworth Church has a cake sale to raise funds for Sandbach Pantry. The event is being held in the church hall Foyer from 9am to 11.30 am.
The usual teas. coffees, bacon baps, crumpets, teacakes etc will be available too. Go along and enjoy some cake or take some home. Why not bring a friend along too?

Fancy some local shopping? Sandbach Market Hall is open so there's a chance to pick up some bargains!

South East Cheshire Ornithological Society has a talk on 'Birding at Home and Abroad' at Ettiley Heath Community Centre in Elton Road, Ettiley Heath from 7.30 pm.
It's Sandbach Makers Market on Market Square from 10 am until – 3 pm. An array of stalls and plenty to keep the whole family entertained with live music from Victoria Lucie. Stalls include pottery, jewellery, food, liqueurs and more!
Fancy some football? Sandbach United's first team is playing Cheadle Heath Nomads with a 3 pm kick-off at Hind Heath Road. Show them your support!
In the evening, the Mayor, Councillor Sam Corcoran has a fundraiser for his two charities, Foden's Band and Sandbach Pantry. Find a partner, follow the caller's instructions and off you go! The event takes place at Sandbach Town Hall from 6.30 pm until 9 pm. Adults are £15 and under 18s £5 Tickets available from Burnell's (cash only) or online here
