Crewe's Queens Park fireworks extravaganza 2026 is scheduled to go ahead on Thursday 5 November, with another upgrade.

The 2025 Crewe Lions Club fireworks and bonfire display attracted thousands of visitors from the local area, making it one of the most successful ever.

Lions volunteers expect people to be out in force at Queens Park once again in 2026 for spectacular fireworks, a huge bonfire, funfair and now for 2026 - live music.

Gates open at 4pm, with admission £10 for adults, £5 for children and babies free (cash only). All proceeds go to local charities.

The Pronounced, a dynamic six-piece band, will deliver a high-energy performance to get everyone in Bonfire Night spirits.

There will be a big funfair as usual, with a large variety of community stalls and food and drink stalls. Visitors are encouraged to wear wellies and to bring a torch.

Crewe Lions Club told Nub News: "Gates open at 4pm this year, with the bonfire lit around 7pm. The fireworks are set off around 8pm, depending on people waiting at the gates.

"For 2026's event will be live music from The Pronounced, both before and after the bonfire is lit. Community stalls will be open from 5pm.

"We can't give specifics on timing as it is all due to the weather. Wind and fog are our dreaded nightmare.

"Blitz Fireworks control the timings all in line with our safety requirements.

"We are looking forward to a bigger and better event this year and can't wait to see everyone coming to the event.

"Money raised helps our local community groups and individuals. It also assists with providing basics for people in war torn countries, as well as those affected by natural disasters."
