Wilmslow will turn pink this October as local businesses and residents raise money and awareness for Prevent Breast Cancer.

The Paint Wilmslow Pink campaign will see shops and venues decorate their windows and premises, alongside a series of fundraising offers.

Tropica Plants will donate 25 per cent from every pink Anthurium sold during October. The Stolen Lamb is offering a special ‘Stolen Baa-lini’ cocktail, while Smoke restaurant will donate £1 to Prevent Breast Cancer for every Sarti Spritz sold as part of its ‘Drink Pink’ campaign.

A charity walk through Wilmslow will take place on Sunday, October 25. Entry is by a £5 donation, with all proceeds going to Prevent Breast Cancer. Registration opens at 10am, and participants will receive 20 per cent off at Blushing Susie after completing the walk.

Families can also take part in the free Wilmslow Halloween Trail, which runs from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, November 1.

The trail features 16 pumpkin pictures hidden in shop windows and 10 gargoyles for children to find. Participants can follow a trail map and record what they spot, then post completed maps at Waitrose for the chance to win a prize.

Piccolino Grande Wilmslow will host a Pumpkin Painting and Prosecco event on Saturday, October 24, for those looking for an additional Halloween activity.
