Anthropic has published a 335-page prospectus ahead of its planned US stock market listing, revealing new details about the Claude chatbot company’s finances, customers, ownership and concerns about artificial intelligence.

The company has not yet announced the number of shares it will sell or set a price range. It is expected to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol ANT.

Anthropic reported revenue of $16.2bn in the first half of the year. Despite that growth, it recorded a loss of $80.7bn during the same period—twice the loss reported for the whole of 2025.

The filing showed that Anthropic had $131.6bn in cash available as working capital. That figure is greater than the combined cash holdings of Meta and Google, according to the prospectus.

A large share of Anthropic’s business comes from 250 major enterprise customers, each of which paid at least $10m over the previous year. Five customers alone account for a quarter of the company’s business.

The prospectus also set out the risks linked to the infrastructure required to develop and operate advanced AI. Anthropic relies on access to computer chips and data centres, and warned that sufficiently advanced systems could pose “catastrophic or existential risks to humanity” without appropriate safeguards.

Alongside those warnings, the company described possible benefits including improved disease detection, tailored treatments, personalised education and legal advice, as well as more efficient power grids and batteries.

Anthropic’s proposed listing is expected to attract a valuation of $2tn or more, although the company has not disclosed a target share price. The prospectus provides investors with the first detailed public account of the business before its planned debut.
